Shooting Star

The Shooting Star in the sky,
Meteor on the ground:

Feet planted bare on the cold ground at nights
I'd been staring at stars for lifetimes
An unexpected melody raised my head up gently
A soft breeze passing trough my chin

Enraptured by the first sight
That Shooting Star stole my breath
With awe, to the sky in flight
It moved me closer to Empyrean

I was filled with life
A foreign energy from afar,
Beyond physical limitations, yet I reached
Defeated, I did not catch the Shooting Star
